These Gunn pattern gloves are stitched with DuPont Kevlar® thread. Kevlar® is known throughout the work for its strength and resistance to both heat and abrasion. We use these at the shop because the stitching doesn't burn out and the wire brushes don't abrade the thread, leaving an otherwise usable pair of gloves full of holes. First quality leather provides protection that surprises: even when picking up hot steel, these gloves provide better protection than most of their class.
